LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 18, 2003--Air Tahiti Nui, celebrating its first year of service between Los Angeles and Paris, announced today that it is offering a special business class round-trip fare between Los Angeles and Paris for $2020.00. All tickets must be purchased by August 28th, however, travel is good through December 31, 2003.
"To highlight the fact that Air Tahiti Nui now offers 6 weekly flights between Los Angeles and Paris, and to showcase the comfort and service of our 24 seat 'Poerava Business' class cabin, we have launched this special fare," said Wally Sumner, Air Tahiti Nui's Vice President-North America.

This special nonrefundable business class fare, which compares to a full business class fare of $7,154, applies to new bookings only and is capacity controlled. Government taxes and fees are additional and no changes are allowed to outbound flights. Changes may be made to return flights for a fee of U.S. $300, as long as they are made prior to the original date shown on the ticket and are subject to availability. In addition, tickets must be purchased at least 21 days prior to departure with a minimum stay of 7 days and maximum stay of 30 days.
Air Tahiti Nui's business seat has a pitch of 55 inches and a width of 19 inches. The seats recline 140-150 degrees depending on the specific A-340 flown as well as the row selected. Seats are configured 2-2-2 providing either window or aisle, with no middle seats. Each seat in Air Tahiti Nui's 'Poerava Business' section is a virtual entertainment center with music, games and up to 6 first-run movie features on both English and French channels. Sumner pointed out that Poerava is the Tahitian word for black pearl, one of Tahiti's most cherished exports.
