NEW YORK, NY, April 17, 2006 – The warm embrace of April in Paris, “chestnuts
and blossoms with holiday tables under the trees” beckons East Coast travelers
with the launch of Air Tahiti Nui’s new nonstop service between New York’s
John F. Kennedy’s Terminal 4 and Paris’s Charles de Gaulle International
Airport Terminal 2A. Starting April 16, 2006, once-a-week service allows for
a seven-night stay in Paris and beyond.
Air Tahiti Nui is announcing an introductory fare of $298 roundtrip plus airport
taxes available on its website, www.airtahitinui-usa.com.
This rate is available for travel April 16 through May 25, 2006, with a maximum
stay of 90 days.
For those interested in a weeklong Parisian holiday, Air Tahiti Nui departs
New York on Sunday at 5:15pm arriving in Paris seven hours and 15 minutes later
at 6:30am Monday morning. The return flight from Paris departs Monday at 12:25pm,
arriving in New York the same day at 2:55pm.
As Air Tahiti Nui code shares with France’s “TGV” (French
high speed rail service, http://www.tgv.com/EN/),
passengers can easily book a connecting train departing Terminal 2 at Paris’s
CDG airport to 16 provincial cities in France including Lille, Nantes, Le Mans,
Bordeaux, Lyon, Avignon, Marseille, Montpellier, among others.
April in Paris
