The world’s largest independent airline poll, regarded as the primary benchmarking tool for passenger satisfaction levels of airlines around the globe, Skytrax also named Air Tahiti Nui “Best Cabin Staff – Pacific Region” for the fifth straight year.
Skytrax measures over 35 different aspects of passenger satisfaction of an airline’s product and service standards, evaluating “typical” travel experiences. Results for the 2007 awards were tabulated from completed surveys from 14.83 million leisure and business air travelers (1.2 million more than 2006) from more than 90 nations. Criteria for the “Best Cabin Staff” award was determined by the following factors: boarding assistance, friendliness, staff attitudes and problem solving skills, service attentiveness, efficiency and consistency, and total cabin presence.
