The North Island of New Zealand has a hugely diverse landscape, from the rolling farmlands to the rugged ranges. Its northern location means it enjoys a warmer, more temperate climate than much of the South Island, and is much more vastly populated.
You will arrive in the largest city in New Zealand—Auckland (City of Sails), then travel the scenic route south to Coromandel. Visit the world famous Hot Water Beach where the hot water bubbles out of the sand so hot it can burn your feet! Take a gentle farmland walk to visit the beautiful Cathedral Cove, and perhaps a tour of the Whitianga Harbour by glass-bottomed boat. Visit the Port of Tauranga and its beautiful beaches as you continue south. Enjoy a kayaking tour to view glowwarms. Next you will visit the Te Puia Thermal Reserve in the city of Rotorua. Enjoy a Maori Hangi & Concert before returning to Auckland.
